10U Eagles Take Runner-Up in Memorial Day Shipyard Tournament

Over the 2025 Memorial Day weekend, Loudoun South's very own 10U Eagles team, led by team manager Brian Triplett, assistant coaches Brandon Reese, Nick Umstead, Michael Funk and Brandon Vaughan, competed in the annual Shipyard Park Memorial Day Tournament located in Charleston SC. The team battled their way to the championship game by leading a massive come from behind victory (0-7) over a very good Rock Solid Blue team. Lead by pitcher #6 Maxwell Vaughan, the Eagles triumphed to a 9-8 victory. The hurler tossed four and two-thirds innings in relief and allowed three hits and one run, while striking out six and walking one and receiving the tournament MVP award.  Cooper Reese led Loudoun South with three runs batted in. Finley B, Logan S, Logan U and Graeson F each collected two hits for Loudoun South.  Cooper R stole two of the seven bases in the game.
